Cap. 331 Art. 55Appeals.

(1) In this article, the "Financial Services Tribunal" means the Tribunal established in terms of article 21 of the Malta Financial Services Authority Act, and the term "Tribunal" shall be construed accordingly; and the provisions of the said article 21

shall, except in so far as any of them is incompatible with the provisions of this article, apply to appeals made to the Financial Services Tribunal under this Act.

(2) Any person who is aggrieved by a decision of the Authority -

(a) to refuse the issue of an authorisation or registration;

(b) to impose or vary any condition of an authorisation or registration;

(c) to impose or vary any restriction;

(d) to revoke an authorisation;

(e) to issue a directive under this Act;

(f) to impose an administrative penalty in terms of article 51(7), may appeal against the decision to the Financial Services Tribunal within such period and under such conditions as are established under the Malta Financial Services Authority Act.

(3) An appeal against a decision of the Authority shall not suspend the operation of that decision.
