Cap. 31 Art. 44Wrappers of articlesseizedtobe sealed and signed.

In the case mentioned in the last preceding article, the wrappers or receptacles containing the substances so seized shall be sealed with the seal and the signature of the apothecary or of the person for the time being in charge of the dispensary:

Provided that if such apothecary or person refuses to affix his seal or signature, the signature of the officer effecting the seizure shall be sufficient: Provided also that if the apothecary or the person for the time being in charge of the dispensary so requires, the inspecting officer shall divide each article so seized into two parts, sealed and signed as aforesaid, and shall deliver one part to the apothecary or the person for the time being in charge of the dispensary.
