Cap. 16 Art. 806No representation of persons who are alive.

Representation cannot take place in regard to persons who are alive, but only in regard to persons who are dead, or incapable of succeeding, or who, by reason of a long period of absence, are, in virtue of a judgment of the competent court, presumed to have died.
