Cap. 16 Art. 477Duty of person granting water from a spring or channel.

In the absence of an agreement, the owner or other person making a grant of water from a spring or a channel is bound, towards those who, under such grant, are entitled to make use of such water, to carry out the works required to lead the water from its source to the place from which the water is to be taken.
