Cap. 16 Art. 405Water running through public road.

(1) The owner of the higher tenement may cause the water which runs through the public road to be led into his own tenement, in preference to the owner of the lower tenement.

(2) In the case of owners of tenements placed on the same level, each of such owners may cause the water which runs on that half of the road, which is contiguous to his tenement, to be led into such tenement.
