Cap. 16 Art. 1774Reservation of power of disposing.

If the donor has reserved to himself the power to dispose of a thing included in the donation or of a specified sum out of the property given, and dies without having disposed of the same, such thing or sum shall belong to the donee, unless a contrary declaration has been expressly made in the deed of donation, or unless the donee has prevented the donor from disposing of such thing or sum.
