Cap. 16 Art. 1445When right to interest ceases.

The right to interest of the party against whom redemption is exercised shall cease as from the day on which he is notified of the deposit of the sums which are to be refunded to him, provided the payment out of such deposit be not, without just cause, restrained by the party exercising the right of redemption, in which case, the right to interest will not cease except from the day on which the restraint ceases.
