Cap. 16 Art. 1109Where subject- matter of joint and several liability concernsoneofthe co-debtors only.
Sub-title III
Where the matter in regard to which the joint and several liability has been contracted, concerns only one of the co-debtors, such co-debtor shall be liable for the whole debt towards the other co-debtors, and the latter, in relation to such co-debtor, shall be considered merely as sureties. § V.OF DIVISIBLE AND INDIVISIBLE OBLIGATIONS
