Cap. 16 · Civil Code (Cap. 16)
Cap. 16 Art. 1066Definition of resolutive condition.
Sub-title III
(1) A resolutive condition is that which, on being accomplished, operates the dissolution of the obligation, and replaces things in the same state as though the obligation had never been contracted.
(2) Such condition does not suspend the performance of the obligation, but, if the event provided for by the condition happens, the creditor shall be bound to restore that which he may have received.
