Cap. 16 Art. 1065Where obligation is contingent on event which has already taken place.
Sub-title III
An obligation contingent on an event which has already happened, but is not yet known to the parties, shall be effectual as from the day on which it was contracted, but the debtor may not be compelled to perform it until the unknown event is ascertained.
