Cap. 345 Art. 41Criminal proceedings.

(1) A person guilty of an offence under the provisions of section 40 shall be liable on conviction to a four hundred and sixty-

six thousand euro (€466,000) or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding four years, or to both such fine and imprisonment.

(2) No proceedings for an offence under this Act shall be commenced without the consent of the Attorney General.

(3) The provisions of this Act shall not affect any criminal proceedings that may be competent under any other law.
