Cap. 16 Art. 898Payment of registered debts to bemadeinorderof priority.

The heir who enters upon inventory shall, in paying the debts registered in the Public Registry, and those of which he had received notice at the time of payment, and in retaining any amount in respect of any debt due to himself by the estate, observe the order of the privileges or hypothecs securing such debts.
