Cap. 16 Art. 871Renunciation of inheritance of a person living, is null.

Saving other provisions of this Code with regard to renunciations in contemplation of marriage, it shall not be lawful to renounce the inheritance of a living person, or to alienate any eventual rights thereto, except on taking the vows in a monastic order or a religious corporation of regulars.
