Cap. 16 Art. 82Where act of birth and possession of status are wanting.

In default of the act of birth and the possession of status, or if the child shall have been registered under a false name, or as being born of parents uncertain, or in case of supposition or substitution of a child, although in these last two cases, there exists an act of birth in conformity with the status possessed by the child, the proof of filiation may be made by any other evidence admissible according to law.
