Cap. 16 Art. 703Legacy of a debt due to testator.
Sub-title I
Where the subject of the legacy is a sum owing to the testator, or consists in discharging a debtor from a debt due to the testator, the legacy shall only have effect with regard to such portion of the debt as shall still be owing at the time of the death of the testator.
