The master, or the person keeping the log-book and the ship’s papers, shall, under penalty of a fine (multa) not exceeding twenty-three euro and twenty-nine cents (23.29), recoverable by civil proceedings as provided in article 661, make and sign an entry relating to the receipt of such will, both in the log-book and in the muster-roll.
