Cap. 16 Art. 665Formalities to be observed by judge or magistrate assisting an illiterate person.

(1) The said judge or magistrate shall, after the will is duly closed and sealed, enter on the paper itself on which the will is written, or on that used as its envelope, a declaration to the effect that such paper or envelope contains the will of the person making it, and shall affix his signature to such declaration.

(2) Such declaration shall not operate so as to dispense with the act of delivery referred to in article 659 or the note of particulars referred to in article 662.
