Cap. 16 Art. 487Cessation of easement on partition.
Title XXV of Part II of Book Second of this Code.
Where two buildings which belonged to one owner, are about to be divided, it shall be competent to each of the co-
partitioners to demand, before proceeding to the partition, the cessation of any easement between the two tenements, provided this can be done without any serious prejudice.
