Cap. 16 Art. 390Rights of use and habitation to be created by public deed.

The rights of use and habitation may not be created by the owner otherwise than by a public deed, and they shall not be operative as against third parties before the deed is registered in the

Public Registry, upon the demand of any of the interested parties, or of the notary before whom the deed was executed. The note for the registration of the deed shall be drawn up as provided in sub-article (2) of article 330.
