Cap. 16 Art. 272Persons bound to give notice of birth of child.

In the case of every child born, it shall be the duty of parents, and in default of both, of the physician, surgeon, midwife, or any other person in attendance at the birth, or in whose house the birth has taken place, to give, within fifteen days of such birth, notice thereof to the officer charged with the duty of drawing up the act of birth.
