Cap. 16 Art. 2020of children or other , descendants

(1) Children and other descendants have also a general legal hypothec over the property of their surviving ascendant, in respect of the rights saved to them under articles 637, 638 and 825 in case the said ascendant contracts another marriage.

(2) Such hypothec arises from the day of the death of the other ascendant.
