Cap. 16 Art. 1989Resumption of enjoyment of immovable.

(1) The debtor cannot, before he has wholly satisfied his debt, resume the enjoyment of the immovable which he has given by way of antichresis.

(2) Nevertheless, the creditor who wishes to release himself from the obligations mentioned in the last preceding article, can always compel the debtor to resume the enjoyment of the immovable, unless he has renounced such right.
