Cap. 16 Art. 1694Definition of land annuity and simple annuity.
Sub-title 1
(1) A perpetual annuity constituted as the consideration of an alienation or as a burden on an assignment of an immovable, whether under an onerous or a gratuitous title, is called a land annuity.
(2) An annuity constituted by the payment of a sum of money or other movable thing, is called a simple annuity.
