Cap. 16 Art. 1680Loss of thing promised.

(1) Where one of the partners has promised to bring into the partnership the ownership of a thing and such thing perishes before the partnership has acquired the ownership thereof, the partnership is dissolved with respect to all the partners.

(2) The partnership, however, is not dissolved, if the loss of the thing happens after the partnership has acquired the ownership thereof.
