Cap. 16 Art. 164Judges and magistrates not eligible as tutors.

(1) The judges and the magistrates are not eligible for the office of tutor, except in the case of their own relative by consanguinity in any degree in the direct line, or up to the degree of cousin in the collateral line.

(2) Tutorship already assumed in regard to persons other than the aforesaid relatives shall cease on the appointment of the tutor to the office of judge or magistrate.
