Cap. 16 Art. 1461Rights of buyer under covenant of redemption.

(1) The buyer under a covenant of redemption may exercise all the rights of his seller; he may prescribe against the true owner as well as against persons claiming to have rights or hypothecs on the thing sold; and may also set up the benefit of discussion against the creditors of his seller.

(2) He may not, however, alter the form of the thing sold.
