Cap. 16 Art. 1235Admissibility or otherwise of evidence to rebut presumption.

(1) Evidence to rebut a presumption established by law shall be inadmissible only when on the ground of such presumption the law annuls certain acts, or disallows any action or plea, without any reservation of the right of producing evidence to the contrary.

(2) In any other case, evidence to rebut the presumption, shall be admissible even though the law does not make an express reservation as to the production of evidence to the contrary.
