Cap. 16 Art. 1190Remission in case of joint and several debts.
Sub-title V
(1) A remission or conventional discharge in favour of one of the joint and several debtors shall discharge all the other co-
debtors, unless the creditor shall have made an express reservation of his rights against them.
(2) Where such reservation is made, the creditor, in claiming the debt, shall be bound to deduct the share of the release.
