Cap. 16 Art. 1155Payment by debtor in contravention of garnishee order, etc.
Sub-title V
Payment made by a debtor to his creditor in contravention of a garnishee order, or any other order of the court shall not be valid with regard to the persons in whose favour the order was issued or given; and such persons may, so far as their rights are concerned, compel the debtor to pay again, saving his remedy against the creditor.
