Cap. 16 Art. 1142Compound interest.
Sub-title IV
The interest fallen due may bear other interest either, in virtue of the foregoing provisions, from the day of a judicial demand to that effect, or in virtue of an agreement entered into after the interest has fallen due, provided, in either case, interest be due for a period not less than one year.
