Cap. 16 Art. 1115Liability of obligors under an indivisible obligation.

(1) Where two or more persons have jointly contracted an indivisible debt, each of such persons is liable for the whole of the debt, although the obligation has not been contracted jointly and severally.

(2) The same rule shall apply with regard to the heirs of a person who has contracted a similar obligation.
