Cap. 16 Art. 1035Damage caused by childrenundernine years, etc.

Persons with a mental disorder or other condition, which renders them incapable of managing their own affairs, children under nine years of age, and, unless it is proved that they have acted with a mischievous discretion, children who have not attained the age of fourteen years, shall not be bound to make good the damage caused by them; saving, where competent, any action of the party injured against such persons as may be liable for such damage, under the provisions of the last preceding article.
