S.L. 9.14 Art. 16Issue of a decision by Court in Malta.

(1) The provisions of this regulation shall apply where a person has been sentenced by a court of criminal jurisdiction to the payment of a financial penalty, and the said person is a resident, has property or income or, in the case of a body corporate, is registered in another State.

(2) The court shall issue a decision, and such decision shall have the same effect as a sentence ordering the payment of a financial penalty, as applicable, under the Code, and the provisions of the said Code shall mutatis mutandis apply to a decision issued by virtue of this regulation.
