The register relative to all machinery, etc., for use in connection with the processes shall be produced at the request of the Authority for Transport in Malta by the person in charge thereof. If it relates to the lifting machinery and other gear of a ship and is kept on the ship, it shall be produced, together with the certificate of the ship’s register, by the person for the time being in charge of the ship.
