S.L. 546.4 Art. 5Obligationtomake available and give data to Registrar.

(1) The entities requested by the Registrar to provide data relevant to the Register and subsidiary registers shall make available and give the data requested by the Registrar and shall also have the responsibility to:

(a) maintain their records and, or data elements listed in the First to the Eighth Schedules and ensure that the information shared with the Registrar is good quality data, which reflects true and updated information;

(b) facilitate the machine to machine communication of information that shall be shared or re-used on the basis of these regulations; and

(c) indicate, when sharing data with the Registrar, the unique identifier of every entry included in the Register and in respect of which a record is required to be kept.

(2) The sharing of data is required to:

(a) establish and maintain the Register and Subsidiary Registers, for the implementation of these regulations;

(b) facilitate the re-use and exchange of address related data to:

(i) reduce the duplication and increase efficiency; and

(ii) facilitate and improve the correctness and quality of services being delivered;

(c) assist in the identification or correction of any erroneous data held by one or more of the data sources concerned to establish an address record.
