S.L. 545.3 Art. 7Deposits.

Before any of the works specified in regulation 5 are undertaken by the Corporation or before water is supplied to any consumer or at any time thereafter, the Chief Executive may, without prejudice to the provisions of regulation 30, require such applicant or consumer to deposit at the office a sum of money to be fixed by the Chief Executive as a security for the regular payment of all amounts that may become due to the Corporation in connection with the works required by the applicant or, as the case may be, with the supply of water to that consumer. Without prejudice to the generality of the aforesaid powers, the Chief Executive may require such a deposit to be made when a consumer is or has been in arrears in the payment of water dues for two consecutive accounts in respect of the same tenement.
