(1) The provisions of these regulations need not apply to any certificate course for enrolled nurses organised and run by the

Institute of Health Care of the University of Malta or by any school recognised by the Council for Nurses and Midwives if the said Board is satisfied with the conditions for admission to the course and with the curriculum and assessments and examinations of the said course.

(2) The Chairman of the Council for Nurses and Midwives shall issue a certificate to successful candidates from the course referred to in subregulation (1) for the purposes of the Health Care Professions Act. FIRST SCHEDULE
