According to European Community rules and in accordance with the procedure laid down in article 22 of the Animal Welfare Act, criteria are to be met by staging points with regard to the reception structure, feeding, watering, loading, unloading and where necessary housing of certain types of animal as well as the health requirements applicable to such staging points shall be laid down.
