S.L. 437.112 Art. 5Offences, punishments and administrative penalties.

(1) Whenever any person infringes any of the provisions of these rules or Regulation (EU) 2016/1012, the provisions of articles 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60 and 61 of the Act shall apply.

(2) Without prejudice to the provisions of sub-rule (1), the Court may also order any person who is found guilty of an offence in accordance with these rules, to pay for the expenses incurred by the competent authority and the Director as a result of the said offence, the revocation of any permits or certification issued under these rules and the confiscation, retention and disposal of the animals involved.
