The Technical Regulations Division as established by the

Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority Act, within the

Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority is:

(a) responsible for in-market control within the meaning of Article 22 of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products; and

(b) the competent authority within the meaning of Article 34(1) of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products.
