The Director shall suspend any permit application, renewal or continuation process where any fee or annual contribution due in accordance with these regulations is not paid within the prescribed time.

FIRST SCHEDULE (regulation 3)

Payment of fees payable in relation to a new application for a permit

Fees Amount (€) Application fee payable as follows, and consisting of: - One-time administrative fee 3,500 payable upon submission of an application, credited to the Aquaculture Fund. - One-time approval fee payable 31,500 upon approval of an application, credited to the Aquaculture Fund. - One-time initial fee payable 230,000 only in the first year of the assignment of the area and, or allocation of relevant quotas. SECOND SCHEDULE (regulation 4)

Payment of annual fee and contributions due for the continued validity of a permit.

Fees Amount (€) Annual permit fee due for each year 35,000 following the first year of the permit. Annual Contribution A for 10,000 aquaculture operations involving Thunnus thynnus, credited to the Aquaculture Fund. Annual Contribution B for aquaculture 5,000 operations involving other species, credited to the Aquaculture Fund.
