Credit institutions offering a payment account with basic features shall provide detailed information about the application process for the opening of a payment account with basic features.

Such information shall include an application form, as well as a list of any documents required to be submitted with the application. Such information shall be made available online on the credit institution’s website and, if so requested by the consumer, on a durable medium, free of charge. It shall be the duty of the credit institution to keep such information updated at all times.
