Cap. 455 Art. 21Advisory committees.

(1) The Minister may, from time to time by Order in the

Gazette appoint an advisory committee or committees as may be specified in such Orders. An advisory committee shall, for the better carrying out of the provisions of this Act, advise SportMalta on such matters as the Minister may specify in the Order.

(2) The members of the advisory committee shall be appointed by the Minister and shall hold office for such period and on such terms and conditions as the Minister may deem appropriate. Each advisory committee shall consist of one member representing SportMalta as Chairperson and such other members as the Minister may deem fit to appoint.

(3) The provisions of article 4(6) to (10) shall mutatis mutandis apply to the advisory committees.

(4) Each advisory committee shall keep a record of all its meetings and shall forward copies of such records to SportMalta. Subject to the provisions of this Act, each advisory committee can regulate its own procedures.
