Cap. 403 Art. 48BAppointment of intermediaries or ancillary insurance intermediaries .

Every authorised insurance or reinsurance undertaking shall utilise the services of insurance intermediaries, reinsurance intermediaries, tied insurance intermediaries and ancillary insurance intermediaries which are:

(a) enrolled under the Insurance Distribution Act; or

(b) registered under Article 3 of the Insurance Distribution

Directive, or falling under Article 1(3) of the Insurance

Distribution Directive where applicable; or

(c) registered or regulated to carry out such services in a non-Member State or non-EEA State in accordance with the provisions of the laws applicable in such State.
