It shall be the duty of the competent authority to carry out the functions assigned to it by or under this Act and any regulations,

Insurance Rules or Conduct of Business Rules made thereunder and to ensure that insurance and reinsurance undertakings carrying on the business of insurance in or from Malta comply with the provisions of this Act and of any regulations made thereunder, with any Insurance

Rules and Conduct of Business Rules made and directives issued by the competent authority in virtue of this Act and of any regulations made thereunder and with the conditions specified in their respective authorisation.
