Cap. 36 Art. 5Notification of disease in any house, etc.

Where an inmate of any house or other building, used for human habitation, including any shed, tent or van, is suffering from a disease, then, unless such house or building is a hospital in which persons suffering from such disease are received, the head of the family to which such inmate belongs, and in his default the nearest relative of the patient present in the house or building or being in attendance on the patient, and in default of any such person the occupier of such house or building, shall, as soon as he becomes aware that the patient is suffering from a disease to which this Part of the Ordinance applies send notice thereof to the district medical officer of the district in which such house or building is situate.
