Cap. 174 Art. 42Purchase and custody of securities.

(1) The investments in securities shall, in the case of securities held in Malta, be made in the name of three or more persons jointly, who shall be appointed from time to time by the

Minister, and, in the case of securities held abroad, in the name of such person or persons as may be appointed from time to time by the Minister.

(2) Such persons shall only have the custody of such securities on behalf of the Government of Malta and it shall not be lawful for them severally or jointly to take any measures in respect of such securities save as provided by this Act.
