Doctoral students engaged as full-time Research Support Officers by the University may be allowed to register on a full-time basis, provided that the research which they are employed to support falls within the area of research for their thesis, and provided that, notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (4) of regulation 23, the minimum period of study shall be three years.
