On the resignation, death or the expiry of the term of office of the appointed members, the President shall cause a notice thereof to be sent to the authority concerned. In the case of elected members, the President shall cause an election to be held in accordance with the provisions of article 6(8) of the First Schedule of the Act and the Council for the Professions Complementary to Medicine (Elections) Regulations.
