Without prejudice to the general obligations in terms of the Health and Safety at Work Act and any regulations issued thereunder, the employer shall be responsible to ensure that a safe working environment is provided for platform workers by ensuring that risks relating to the platform workers’ duties are identified and measures are taken for such risks to be avoided as much as possible.
